hey guys, it's me. i figured i should update cuz its the only way i can get in contact from the phillipines cuz im like 13 hours ahead of you guys.

anyway, trips been good so far. after 15 hours from US to korea and 3 from there to the phillipnes, my sister(meg) and i arrived in the phillipnes. hahaha....we got on the OFW line only to realize that it meant Overseas Filipino Workers. we met our other sister(lindsay) who flew in from vegas. then we were pickd up by my uncle and my parents. oh and btw....we arrived at 12AM and the temperature was a chilling 70 degrees and humidity was extremely high.

we were staying at my aunts condo in Manilla from Thrusday to Sunday, which was pretty nice. Friday and Staurday were devoted to shopping at the malls(there are like 4-6 in Manilla alone...the smallest was 4 stories and the largest 7 with an ice rink) we went to my grandparents house on Saturday and met up with them, some aunts, uncles, and cousins. Matt(buff as hell now) and Chris(fatter everytime i see him) were there too so it was cool. my sisters and cousins and i went shopping and had dinner there(the most expensive meal was 400 pesos [$1 = 53 pesos])

Sunday was my grandparents 50th anniversary which was pretty nice. i had to wear a barong(u'll se in pics). Afterwards we went to this beautiful outdoor restaurant and ate a nice dinner. Matt and Chris were checking out girls, only to realize they were our cousins...first cousins.(This happened to be my grandparents idea).

Next day we left for Borcay. There was a one hour flight, a bus ride and a boat ride. It was great when the guys picked us up and brought us ashore. It's beautiful here and the beach is so nice. Anyway it's my second day here and i'm picking up souveneirs for you guys.

Its snowing like craaazy.....i'm not sure if thats exactly good or bad.....but whatever

Anyway...I've been thinking a lot lately. I find myself constantly questioning myself. 

"Did I really do the right thing?"
"Is this really who I am?"
"Is this the person I've become?"

I find myself in a position where I can't look back anymore, I can only look ahead to something better. But then I question that too. I figured that sometimes one must look back at past experiences and remember all the lessons you've learned and friends you've met along the way. But I also figured that memories only bring you to the past when one should remain firmly in the present to avoid suffering from nostalgia. I'm begininng to think I'm losing all of my old friends that are quickly replaced by new friends, but without the same feel. I still think about the old days when it was just me, Sai, Peter, Andrew, Jason, Kevin, and Matt just sitting at lunch having fun and telling jokes, when there was a bare minumum of animosity between us. I miss laughing with all of you guys, yes, even Jason. Whatever happened to the old 'crew' from middle school? I guess we just each need our space.
